Coming soon to a craft fair near you!

So I can't say much right now but I'm working on an awesome new project with my sister and cousin. Here's a little sneak peak at something I'll be banging on about from now on :P

Recent Work!

Here are some photos of my recent work I've just handed in today. Its for a live brief with SIRF (click here) and I've worked my bum off! Remember all of these pictures belong to me as I made all of the items in these pictures and I took the photographs too.

For my final pieces I have made tealight holders and a copper "25" ring to celebrate SIRF's 25th Anniversary. There's also some plates and bowls and samples too.

Cermaics in the Garden

I forgot to post this picture of me working in my garden when we had a random few days of sun. I was sat surrounded by all of my plants and started creating some plates for my recent project.

Now the weather is awful again I'm sticking to working indoors! My clay would just turn to mush!

Happy Mother's Day!

Helloooo!

Happy mother's day to all you Mammy's out there! I have had a fantastic day with my family. They all visited me at my student house and me and my brother laid out some food for everyone. It was really nice to spend some time with everyone and we had fun! I had no money (being a student and all) so I made my mum a hot water bottle cover that she loves. My family really appreciate hand made things so I'm kinda glad that I made her it.

Here's some pictures of the day and the things I made.

Yes...they tasted as lush as they look.

So nice to have everyone togeter.

This one is including my gorgeous Nanna Pam...the funkiest rock chick I know ;)

The cards I made for my Mum and Nan :) Stenciled from my drawing of my Mum's dog Lenny then spray painted pink.

Mum loved the hot water bottle cover I made for her. I made it one evening with sheets of felt, hand embroidery and beads. I think it looks quite cute but if I didn't have so much uni work to do I would have spent longer on it.

It's been a lovely day and now I'm shattered! No rest for me though...I now have to tidy up!
